The Impeller, Screw and Backplate O-Ring Kit, 1.5 HP, FloPro FHPM Series is an aftermarket o-ring built to replace the original component in Jandy circulation pumps. In service it forms the static seal between two mating components under compression. This is a consumable in practice: rubber hardens, flattens and cracks with heat, chlorine and UV exposure, and a failed o-ring is the most common source of air leaks and drips. Ours is molded in EPDM rubber and dimensionally checked against an OEM sample before tooling is signed off.
