Product overview
The Wet End Assembly with Seal Plate and Hardware is an aftermarket replacement for the pump-side housing of Pentair WhisperFlo XF and IntelliFlo XF pumps, including the VS versions. It combines the strainer pot and volute housing (OEM 400000 / 400000Z) with the XF seal plate (OEM 400002) and the stud hardware — cap nuts, flat washers and lock washers, 10 of each — so a cracked, warped or UV-chalked wet end can be replaced in one job instead of reusing corroded fasteners. The motor, impeller and diffuser are not part of the wet end; transfer them from the existing pump. XF series only: standard WhisperFlo and IntelliFlo pumps use a different housing, so confirm the pump model or the OEM number before ordering.
