The Lid / Locking Ring Assembly is an aftermarket cover / lid built to replace the original component in Pentair circulation pumps. In service it closes and seals the housing while allowing access for service. This is a consumable in practice: the sealing face distorts and fasteners corrode, so the cover no longer seats evenly. Ours is dimensionally checked against an OEM sample before tooling is signed off.
