The Pump Union Tailpiece, 2 x 2.5-Inch, Compatible with Jandy Stealth Pumps is an aftermarket union / fitting built to replace the original component in Jandy circulation pumps. In service it connects sections of plumbing and allows equipment to be removed without cutting pipe. It is a wear item: the nut threads strip and the seat distorts, so the joint can no longer be sealed by hand. Ours is molded in PVC / reinforced thermoplastic.
