The Tailpiece with Union Nut for Legacy (2-Pack) is an aftermarket union / fitting built to replace the original component in Jandy equipment-pad plumbing. In service it connects sections of plumbing and allows equipment to be removed without cutting pipe. Replacement is routine: the nut threads strip and the seat distorts, so the joint can no longer be sealed by hand. Ours is molded in PVC / reinforced thermoplastic and dimensionally checked against an OEM sample before tooling is signed off.
