A useful Super Pump rebuild list starts with the parts that need attention, then checks which of them are included in the quoted kit. Ordering a large bundle without checking its contents can leave a repair short of one gasket while duplicating other parts.
Record the installed configuration
Photograph the complete pump label, existing cover and wet-end assembly. Note any previous motor or plate replacement. Use the parts diagram for that exact version; the words “Super Pump” alone do not identify every component revision.
Record the observed fault separately from the proposed replacement. For example, “water near the cover edge” is an observation; “replace the shaft seal” is a diagnosis that still needs confirmation. Have the service technician establish the repair scope before buying parts in volume.
Choose the cover and its securing hardware separately

The cover knob is not a valve handle. A cover listing also does not mean that its gasket, basket and knobs are all included. Put each required item and quantity on the purchase order.
Check a bundle against the job
Our source record for the SPX1600F5 bundle lists a motor mounting plate, seal plate and shaft seal. Request a packing list showing each component before adding an impeller, diffuser, lid or separate gasket to the order. Do not treat the component numbers inside one kit as interchangeable OEM references.
For older SP1600X equipment, compare the installed parts with the proposed replacements. For SP2600X equipment, include the full model suffix. If the existing pump does not match the supplied diagram, resolve that difference before approving a sample.
Service and acceptance
Use the pump manufacturer's procedure for disassembly and reassembly, with power isolated and pressure released. Torque, seal handling and startup instructions belong to the specific equipment manual. This purchasing checklist does not replace that procedure.
For incoming stock, check the agreed sample against the packing list, photograph the supplied components and label the supported application. Keep a record of exceptions so a later order does not silently inherit an unverified fitment claim.
